Ellen Miki
A creative professional with a passion for bridging cultures and bringing stories to life. Started her career as a production coordinator on the iconic full-CG Final Fantasy film in Honolulu.
Subsequently, she transitioned to producing localized Japanese video content for the North American market at VIZ Media in San Francisco. Her experience working with diverse creative teams and cultures inspired her to pursue a career in visual effects for film. Relocating to London, she honed her skills as a VFX compositor at renowned studios like Moving Pictures Company and Double Negative. Now based in New York, she continues to work on a wide range of projects across film and television, always seeking opportunities to collaborate with talented individuals and contribute to innovative storytelling.
Steve Sanchez
With nearly three decades of experience in the visual effects industry, Steve has honed his craft in some of the world's most iconic film and television hubs. From on-set supervision and consultation for film/television to post production compositing work for visual effects, based in New York.
Starting his career in Hollywood, Steve has contributed to iconic films like Titanic. He later ventured to Hawaii to work on the groundbreaking full-CG feature Final Fantasy. In San Francisco, he worked on the groundbreaking visual effects for Star Wars and The Matrix sequels. His international experience includes collaborations with renowned studios in London, where he contributed to the magical world of Harry Potter and the action-packed James Bond film Skyfall.
Most recently, he has brought his extensive experience to New York, where he has worked on episodic television projects for major studios. This transition has allowed him to showcase his versatility and adapt his skills to the unique demands of television production.
His exceptional work in the television industry earned him a prestigious Emmy nomination, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in visual effects.
